Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center Staff

We have a wonderful team of dedicated educators who strive to make learning come alive in their classrooms.  Say hello when you see them in the hallways, classrooms or at carpool!

Jan Baron

8th Grade

Having been an early childhood and classroom teacher for many years, Jan continues to use her teaching skills with her Chet Class (8th Grade) at B’nai Amoona. A graduate of Lindenwood University she received her Master’s in Education from Webster University. Her love of the St. Louis community and various charities comes from her many “adventures” in the local not-for-profit arena. Just ask anyone, Jan has worked everywhere and knows everyone. She and her husband, Richard, have four children and are the proud grandparents of six.

Eric Berger

8th Grade

Eric Berger grew up attending Sunday school at Congregation B'nai Amoona. He moved back to St. Louis from Philadelphia a year ago and now works as a staff writer at the St. Louis Jewish Light. When he's not writing or teaching, he enjoys running, cycling and seeing live music.

Andy Schwebel

Habonim: 9 & 10 with Confirmation

Andy was born and raised in Miami Florida.  He has been involved in Jewish Education his entire life.  Andy has served in various capacities and has found that he truly enjoys working with Youth Programming.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  Andy's passion is social action programming and truly making a difference in the world.

He feels B'nai Amoona is a great place to make all of the magic happen!
