B'nai Amoona USY (BAUSY)

BAUSY is B'nai Amoona's local chapter of United Synagoue Youth. USY is for all 9th-12th grade students. USY meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-8:30pm and monthly for Shabbat experiences. Events are planned by our members and the USY Board. This group also attends five regional weekends throughout the Emtza region.

A Letter from the President

Shalom BAUSY!! I am extremely excited to start this USY year off with all of you. I am looking forward to the amazing programs we will have together and the new memories we will create.

This summer I got the amazing opportunity to go on the USY Eastern Europe/Israel Pilgrimage to learn new skills in becoming a USY leader. I can’t wait to use all of these skills at USY events.

A Letter from the Youth Director

Welcome back to BAUSY!

It has been a great summer and now we are looking forward to an amazing year. President Rina Gersten has been working with me to plan some really exciting opening programs this year!

BAUSY is a place to come and hang out with friends and plan even more amazing programs. We have space for everyone!
This year will be my first year as the Director of Youth and Camp. I have spent the last five years working for BAUSY as a Youth Advisor, but cannot wait to take on my new role.

Looking forward to having a great year!

Shelby R. Cohen
Director of Youth and Camp
