Welcome to B’nai Amoona! Thank you for your interest in our community. We pride ourselves on connecting Jews with Judaism. Ours is an inclusive synagogue, which welcomes singles and married/partnered families seeking a home within the Jewish community. B’nai Amoona offers vibrant, meaningful worship services including daily morning and evening Minyans, excellent education for all ages from Pre-K through Adults, youth programs, and year round programming.
B’nai Amoona offers a diverse range of opportunities for spiritual growth, Jewish education and communal involvement. We think of ourselves as a close-knit family. We share in each other’s joy, and offer comfort and support in times of tragedy. Those who visit our Shul for life cycle events often remark on the extraordinary degree of caring and warmth with which we welcome them and embrace our members.
B’nai Amoona is a multi-generational congregation, with many families whose ties to the congregation span multiple generations. At the same time, we are blessed with numerous families who have relocated to St. Louis from around the country and other parts of the globe. We are committed to the Jewish precept of welcoming all who enter our doors. Whether we are singing and celebrating Shabbat together, sitting down to explore the insights and profound wisdom found in our Torah, or gathering with members of our congregation to make a difference in our community, we are a congregational family dedicated to deepening and enriching our connection to Judaism.
B’nai Amoona is in the heart of Creve Coeur, in West St. Louis County. We are fortunate to have a beautiful campus on 33 acres in a park like setting that our Alfred Fleishman summer day camps, Ramot Amoona and B’nai Ami, utilize featuring ball fields, playground, pavilion and more! Our religious school, The Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center and our Early Childhood Center provide world class education for children from Pre-K through high school. Our award winning USY youth groups help our children connect with each other and their peers from around the country. We are proud of our exceptional Sisterhood and Men's Club Programs. These auxiliaries are an integral part of our community for adults of all ages.
