Tikkun Olam Day
In honor of Martin Luther King Weekend, each year we hold a Tikkun Olam morning. All families with children in the Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center, Youth Groups, and Day School are invited to join together to help make a difference in our world. The activities change from year to year including cooking, painting, cleaning and running a fun, station-based morning for the children at Gateway180.
There are stations setup at B’nai Amoona to make soup packets, dog biscuits, and learn about what Tikkun Olam means. In the past, families also participated in a Family Trivia Morning where all the proceeds went to support scholarships to Camp Ramot Amoona. It is a fun morning where we help make our small corner of the world a little better through our actions.
