About B'nai Amoona

Congregation B’nai Amoona is a large, fully egalitarian Conservative Synagogue where spiritual experiences, educational opportunities and warm fellowship are the lifeblood of this Congregation. Spearheaded by our Klei Kodesh (clergy) and staff, we aim to create, plan support and implement a myriad of exceptional programming for every age. Preschoolers to senior adults are experiencing spirituality, education and programming as never before.

B’nai Amoona strives to create a warm, friendly and spiritual atmosphere. Jews by birth and by choice as well as Interfaith couples are invited to affiliate as members and be a part of the B’nai Amoona Experience.

B’nai Amoona is a Kosher Institution and employs its own Mashgiach to supervise Kashrut. In addition, B’nai Amoona is the only Conservative Synagogue in St. Louis that maintains its own cemetery, located in University City.

Active Community

B’nai Amoona is proud of its Minyannaires program which guarantees Minyan twice daily, in the morning and evening. Shabbat Services are especially welcoming as there are at least three services to choose from each week.

Our members are very active at B’nai Amoona. Sisterhood and Men’s Club have programs throughout the year. The Award Winning Social Action committee is always knee deep in Tikkun Olam increasing awareness and bringing everyone together to help those in need.

Lifelong Learning

Children in Kindergarten through 12th grade attend the Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center which combines Hebrew and religious studies in an integrated program meeting twice weekly. The Linda Rotskoff Early Childhood Center offers programs for infants through pre-kindergarten. The Al Fleishman Day Camps, Camp B'nai Ami and Ramot Amoona, are modeled after Camp Ramah and keep children in preschool through 6th grade busy all summer with a nurturing innovative Jewish learning experience.

Our B’nai Amoona United Synagogue Youth (BAUSY) is a regionally award winning chapter offering programs for children beginning in the 3rd grade all the way up to 12th grade. B’nai Amoona and The Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School share a special relationship as they are housed on the same campus.

Our innovative youth programs engage children of all ages and their families. These programs often include live music and entertainment, art activities, sports, Hebrew through Movement and social action/community service projects. Our children and teens often find lifelong friends through out programs.

Adult Education is a high point. Topics change often availing the program to a wide variety of interests.
