Youth & Family Services

Congregation B'nai Amoona is proud to host inclusive, meaningful and exciting Services and programs for our children, teenagers and their families. Here are just a few Youth & Family Services and Holy Day experiences we offer:

Shabbat Play at BA - all ages:
This afternoon youth recreational Shabbat program offers children of all ages and their families to join us on our fields, playground and basketball court. Through open play opportunities, children and teenagers build lifelong friendships with one another and grow to love spending time at Shul.

Family Friendly Friday Nights - all ages:
Families are welcome to join us in welcoming the start of Shabbat. Age appropriate learning opportunities, music and other activities are always on the agenda as well as periodic cameos from Rabbi Abraham's famous puppets and a Shabbat take-home bag with grape juice and challah.

Holy Day Services & Programs - all ages:
Our Holy Day experiences provide a space for our children and families to grow spiritually through engaging and entertaining Holy Day themed activities. Examples include: lighting our giant Chanukiah with Fredbird and Louie (the St. Louis Cardinals' and Blues' mascots), Sukkot arts and crafts program to decorate our Sukkah, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur programs in our fields with Rabbi Abraham and Morah Brandi Roach, and of course, our community-wide Purim Carnival.

Please keep an eye out for all upcoming dates for the above programs and Services.

We also have several opportunities that we, sadly, are unable to offer at this time including Shabbat babysitting and Junior Congregation. These two programs allow parents and guardians to join our main Shabbat Service while their children enjoy their own Shabbat experience. At this time, we ask that children accompany their parents and guardians during in-person Services.
