Our Parents

Shalom Parents!

Shemesh, means “sun” in Hebrew, and we hope that the programs we do throughout the year with bring light, and joy to you, your children, and our wonderful ECC! The LRECC Shemesh Parent Organization is a group of parents who work to support and enhance our children’s educational experiences at school, and to build community amongst the parents.

 Nikki’s Notes:
Shalom! My name is Nikki Goldfeder, and I am excited to chair our parent organization, Shemesh, for the 2018-2019 school year. My husband Andrew and I have two children in the LRECC - Ilana is in the 2-3 year old classroom, and Ethan will start in the infant room in August. I work full time as a middle school guidance counselor, and I was nervous at first to take on this role.

It takes a village to raise our children, and together, we can support the amazing educators who help our children grow each day, and we can support each other as we navigate the often rocky waters of raising families. In this role, I hope to connect people to each other and to opportunities to serve, so that we can create the best possible environment for our children to thrive and our families to flourish.

We are looking forward to a wonderful year. If you have questions, comments, or ideas for future Shemesh programs, please feel free to be in touch with us.

Kol Tuv (Wishing you all good things),
