Engage
Your opportunities for engagement at B’nai Amoona are very broad. You may participate in and explore our outstanding educational, social, community service and religious programs. Our community is dedicated to help all people who want to be a part of our community grow spiritually and morally by experiencing the richness of our Jewish heritage and tradition.
Lean on us
We all experience moments of need when stressed by life events. At such times, our Clergy our available to the provide counsel guided by Jewish wisdom and customs and if appropriate, to activate others in our community to help. Many Jewish traditions are universal in their ability to create meaning at a time of loss, sickness, or even to help provide guidance during challenging family situations.
Open
We partner with the JCRC to participate in the Jewish and Muslim day of service. Many years, we host a 2nd night Passover Seder which is open to the community. Through our Social Action committee, we also participate in community events such as the Interfaith Partnership Thanksgiving Service.
We are always open to suggestions for new and inspiring ways to reinforce a core Jewish value of seeing all people as made in God's image. If you have a program suggestion that you'd like to share, please contact us at 314-576-9990.
Meet and Mingle
We have many Interfaith families in our B'nai Amoona community. We have found that couples who are interested in our synagogue, have questions about what life is like as an Interfaith family at B'nai Amoona. Our congregational ambassadors are happy to share a Shabbat evening with you or set up a time to meet with you to discuss your questions.
If you'd like a congregational ambassador to contact you or are interested in becoming a congregational ambassador to host a Shabbat dinner or sharing your experiences with other interfaith families, please contact Judith Isaacs
