Nothing Bundt BAUSY: Final Banquet

If we were all bundt cakes, we would surely fly
up in the air just like birds in the sky.

If we were all bundt cakes, we would taste so good like Tikkun Olam, SA/TO or
Regalia with a hood.

If we were all bundt cakes, I'm sure you would agree the world would be a better place with yummy BAUSY!

At B’nai Amoona, we offer youth and teen programming from 3rd grade through high school. Our 3rd-8th graders meet on Sundays and our USY’ers meet almost every Wednesday during the school year. We also offer Friday night game nights and Shabbat dinners throughout the year for our Chalutzim and USY teens. In addition, our College Connect Program keeps our USY alum from missing home by sending “goodies” to their respective locations.

Atid Amoona

Atid Amoona is for all youth in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. This group meets once a month on a Sunday afternoon and attends events that allows Atid to have a positive Jewish experience and meet a lot of new friends at B’nai Amoona outside the classroom setting.

Kadima is for all youth in 6th and 7th grade. Our Kadimaniks attend programs once a month on a Sunday afternoon. This group will attend Kadima Kinnus, a regional event for all 6th and 7th graders throughout our region (EMTZA).

Chalutzim is for all youth in 8th grade. This group meets twice a month on a Sunday. The first meeting of the month is dedicated to designing a program that our Chalutzim-ers will participate in later that month!

They are also invited on an autumn retreat to Trout Lodge with our USY-ers from October 19-21.

B'nai Amoona USY (BAUSY)

BAUSY is B’nai Amoona’s local chapter of United Synagogue Youth. USY is for all 9th-12th graders. BAUSY meets almost every Wednesday evening from 7-8:30PM and also for monthly Shabbat experiences, game nights and/or for holiday programming. Events are planned by our members and the BAUSY Board.

Leadership Team (LT) is our 9th grade division of BAUSY. LT will meet twice a month on a Sunday (late-morning). They have the opportunity to be more involved in USY right off the bat and to plan some programs for the rest of the chapter.

Our BAUSYniks can also attend five regional conventions that enable teens throughout the EMTZA region to spend Shabbat together, learn and have tons of fun! Our region - EMTZA - spans from Colorado to St. Louis and from Kansas City up to Minneapolis.

A Letter from the President

Hello BAUSY! I am so excited to start off my first year on our BAUSY Board as your president! I cannot wait to get everyone involved, especially our new members. I hope everyone is excited and ready to plan amazing programs!

Last summer, I was fortunate enough to go on USY Pilgrimage to Israel and Eastern Europe. This experience really prepared me for this leadership role. This summer, I worked as the Drama Specialist at Camp Ramot Amoona and learned new skills that I cannot wait to bring to BAUSY events.

A Letter from the Youth Director

Shalom BAUSYniks!

It has been a wonderful summer at Machane Ramot Amoona and now we are looking forward to what will surely be an absolutely amazing year! President Madeline Morse has been working with me to plan some really exciting opening programs. BAUSY is BANANAS and we cannot wait for all that is in store for us this year!

BAUSY is a place to be yourself, come and hang out with old and new friends (outside of school), and learn to plan and implement fantastic programs. We have space for everyone! This year will be my first as the Director of Youth and Camp. In the past, I have worked as a Youth Advisor and I cannot wait to take on my new role... being with all of YOU! Come join the bunch!
