“Would you like wine with that? Wine and other important tales of Israel

Steve Kerbel is an awesome, independent education consultant in the Greater Washington DC area, and has been involved in Jewish education, formal and informal, youth group, camp, day school and congregational school for the last 30 years.  As your host Steve will lead a session that will share information about the history of winemaking in Israel, wines, wineries and winemakers, the geography of winemaking in Israel.  An Israeli wine enthusiast for 35 years, Steve has visited over 130 of Israel’s more than 320 wineries, from wineries in the basements of apartment buildings (the Katamon Winery in the San Simon neighborhood of Jerusalem) to the Golan Heights.  (Men are welcome to attend this session on Zoom)
