It is also the Last Day of MKLC!
Parents and students should come together!
No MKLC classes - students should sign up for projects instead!
Mitzvah Day Schedule - Sunday, May 7, 2023:
8:30 am Breakfast Begins (not mandatory, but definitely yummy!)
9:00 am Minyan Begins
9:45 am: Welcome & Opening Ceremony Honoring Rabbi Joe Davidson
10:00 am: Projects Begin (sign up below!)
Projects will be at B’nai Amoona and offsite.

Ronald McDonald House
Come help make a meal for those who are living at Ronald McDonald House; Off Site and Recommended for 20 something and our Not Your Parents Group "group!"
Little Hands, Big Hearts!
Help make Shabbat Buckets for those in need, Decorate Kindness Rocks, and help attach the mezuzot to our Early Childhood Doors. Recommended for Early Childhood thru 2nd grade
Brookdale
Come help the Residents Celebrate Yom Haatzmaut! Israel's Birthday! Off Site and Recommended for all ages.
First Responders, Shelter for the Unhoused, and Peter and Paul Shelter
We will be making snack kits and support sacks for First Responders and Survival Bags for Peter and Paul Shelter. Recommended for Adults and Youth age 2nd grade and above.
Shriner's Hospital - Sponsored by Tov M'od and Habonim Chavurah Groups.
Blanket making for the Children of Shriner's Hospital Recommended for Adults and Youth Ages 5th Grade and Above
Children's Hospital
Help sew and create dolls and other "Love items' for children at the hospital: Recommended for 3rd grade and older. You must be able to follow simple sewing directions.
Birthday in a Bag
Create Birthdays in a Bag for the Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry. Recommended for Kindergarten and older: A small project for those who need something easy.
Gateway 180
Help the residents at Gateway 180 by packaging lunches for them. Recommended for Ages 2nd grade and older.
Soup Brigade!
Come help make Soup and Challah for the B'nai Amoona Freezers to be distributed to Congregants in Needs: Recommended for Ages Adults and 2nd Grade Youth and Older
Sisterhood Project
Stock the Freezer! Help Cook meals for our freezer to be distributed to members in need: Preferred for Sisterhood.
Men's Club
Help us refurbish and maintain holy objects at B'nai Amoona.
