Social Action Joins With Shomrei Amoonim To Become
Mitzvah Circle
Social Action and Shomrei Amoonim have joined forces! We are excited to announce our new name...Mitzvah Circle! Our first big project we are kicking off together will be Operation Moses (Please note - this project was incorrectly named Matzah Circle in the March bulletin!) We will be distributing Trader Joe's bags this Shabbat and ask again that you bring nonperishable food that has not expired in unopened, unbreakable containers. Please also include at least one Kosher for Passover item. It is important that Kosher for Passover food be labelled for 2020, otherwise, it cannot be used. Again, paper goods are always welcome.
Our collection will take place until Sunday 3/15 when we will start sorting the food at 10:00 am. Please join us!
Also, remember that Rabbi Rose needs donations to his discretionary fund for gift cards to help those in need during Passover.
We are also excited that we will be welcoming Erica Steen, Director of the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, as our special guest speaker next Shabbat, March 7, to help us kick off this project!
Let's make " All who are hungry come and eat" a reality this Passover!
