As is our custom and in preparation for the 5781 High Holy Days, whose theme will be Mah Norah HaMakom HaZeh - How Awesome Is This Place, our Klei Kodesh request that our entire Congrgational Family read God Was in This Place and I, i Did Not Know by Rabbi Lawrence Kushner. Books are $13 and can be purchased by calling Amy Maupin at 314-576-9990 x131 or emailing amy@bnaiamoona.com. You may purchase by cash or checks made payable to the Rabbi Carnie Rose Discretionary Fund. Supplies are limited.
Our Klei Kodesh along with our Director of Innovative Learning and Engagement, Liessa Alperin, will also facilitate our Congregation Wide Big Read - a weekly virtual discussion and educational program on Mondays at 5:00 pm that will coincide with the book. Please see the schedule below:
