A language program that teaches grammar, reading comprehension and conversational skills. This class welcomes anyone with basic Hebrew decoding ability, who is interested in learning to speak, read and understand modern Hebrew in a communicative way.

Join this class to explore the meaning of prayers and blessings in the Synagogue and at home. Learn to recite and read them, and take what you’ve learned back home with you, enhancing your living with Jewish practices. Curriculum follows the Jewish calendar and includes prayers and blessings for Rosh Hashanah, Yom HaKipurrim, and Sukkot, as well as for Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh and everyday Mitzvot.
