The celebration of Chanukah is upon us and we invite you to join us each of the eight nights to light the Chanukiah and enjoy the festivities B'yachad, Together as a Kehillah, Community.

We are excited to partner with Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School for the first night of Chanukah! We will kick off the holiday in the parking lot in front of Mirowitz to light the first candle with FredBird. Festive live music will be provided by the Marmor Family, and each family will receive a special Chanukah bag!

Together with our Linda Rotskoff Early Childhood Center families, we will hear a short Chanukah story, sing some songs and light our second night candles as well as our Shabbat candles with Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham.

B'nai Amoona welcomes PJ Library and St. Louis Blues' mascot, Louie, to our Shul for the seventh night of candle lighting with a special Chanukah giveaway. We extend a special invitation to all educators and teachers to join us on this night.

Chanukah lighting at B'nai Amoona by Cantor Sharon Nathanson followed by a virtual musical performance with Cantor Sharon & Friends. Evening Minyan at 6:15 pm and the performance will follow immediately after. The performance will use our Minyan link (provided below).

Candles will also be lit each evening during our virtual Minyanim (excluding Friday night).
Be sure to join us for the ultimate Chanukah Drive-Thru Extravaganza, Light the Lot, on Sunday, December 13 with timeslots from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. Featured at this event will be nine activity stations that you can participate in from the comfort and safety of your vehicle:
-Food donation and winter clothing drop-off -Dreidel creation station and learning the history of the Dreidel -Card making kit pick-up -Olive oil press -Live vignette performance of the Chanukah story -Dreidel spinning competition supply and pre-ordered latke pick-up -Live Hillel & Shamai debate reenactment -Fresh donut making station (to eat at home) -Photo booth with Dreidel Man
