Dear 6th and 7th Grade Families,
We heard your request and we are so excited to announce our NEW Camp Ramot Amoona program for students entering 7th and 8th grade!
Students entering 7th grade will participate in the new Camp Ramot Amoona program, Taking on Tikkun Olam, while students entering 8th grade will choose between applying to be a CIT (Counselor in Training) or to be part of the new Tikkun Olam program.
You may choose to participate in Taking on Tikkun Olam for up to 9 weeks!
Program Structure
Week 1: Intro to Tikkun Olam Weeks 2-9: Working with local organizations (a new organization each week!) Week 7 (Week of July 15th): We will travel to Memphis, Tennessee from Tuesday to Thursday for an amazing Social Justice Experience
Week at a Glance
Monday: Time spent at camp learning about the chosen partner organization Tuesday - Thursday: Participants will be onsite at the partner organization Friday: Participants join Camp Ramot Amoona for all-camp programming
Participants will have opportunities to share about the partner organizations and their experiences with the rest of the camp. Camp days will also include: Swimming, All-Camp Programming, Field Trips and Overnights.
