~ Afternoon Options for Yom Kippur Day ~
Contemplative Service - 2:30 pm in the Guller Chapel
This year on Yom Kippur day in the renewed Guller Chapel, we gather for a music filled, contemplative experience.
Aliyah: Opening our hearts, lifting our spirits. Introspective. Hopeful. Real. A response to this complicated era and fractured world.
Together, we will seek personal inner-strength so that we can move ahead this year strengthening one another, our community and our world.
Facilitated by Cantor Nathanson, Rabbi Rose, Lynnsie Kantor, Alison Fox, Steve Elfanbaum, and Dr. Pam Shifter.
"Schmooze" with the Rabbis - 3:30 pm in the Guller Chapel
Join Rabbi Rose, Rabbi Davidson Cantor Sharon and Cantorial Intern Mira Davis in our New Guller Chapel for an informal conversation around the topic of "Why Judaism?" Facilitators and participants will share texts, tales and teachings as they discuss what it is the draws them to Judaism, connects them to our ancient wisdom tradition, and limits them from diving ever deeper into a life filled with Jewish content, learning, practice and meaning. A unique opportunity to open up and share our hearts with one another in an intimate, non-threatening, non-judgmental, and candid manner. Promises to be a memorable and uplifting experience. All are welcome!
