Israel Engagement is more than just supporting Israel. It is experiencing your own Israel. It is learning from your time in Israel. It is being in the army. It is raising Children in Israel. It is both embracing Israel, while struggling with your relationships with the land. Israel is more than just a place; it is the people there, the people who have chosen to love from afar, and those who seek to make Aliyah one day. These are the Voices of Israel.
Join us at B’nai Amoona as we explore the many voices of Israel. Each session will bring new voices to share their own Israel Story with us. Click here to register.

People of the Book: Your Own Personal Story:Wednesdays
Wednesdays Beginning January 22, 2020 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
"Why were human beings created?" "Because God loves stories." We always say the Jewish people are “people of the book”. Each of us has our own book we are writing each day. This class will allow you to become comfortable with technology and to write and create your own family story book. What an incredible way to pass down your family story, from generation to generation; L’Dor V’Dor!
The class will culminate with each person having created their own printed book using words, pictures, music, and maybe even a family recipe or two. Perfect for those who are wanting to learn a bit more what the computer can do for you! Create a book for your family to keep, or give as a gift. No experience necessary. Facilitated by Tanya Spivey
Guy Nachum is our incredible Shinshin this year! The Shinshin program is a wonderful program in cooperation and support of the Jewish Federation that brings Israeli young adults to spend a gap year in the United States prior to their time in the Israeli Army. Since he came to us in August Guy has shared his knowledge, his love of Israel, and his ruach with the children and youth of B’nai Amoona. It is now time to share Guy with the Adults of BA. Come spend some time with Guy and learn his story and enjoy the Israel that Guy brings to us!
Click here to register. Please feel free to bring a dairy lunch and we will provide drinks and desserts!
