Please join us for a variety of exciting topics and conversations based on our theme for the year, Atideynu 2.0: Imagining our Jewish Future. There will be sessions discussing the future of the American synagogue, a 20’s & 30’s professional group based on their futures and the role Judaism will play in their lives, the future of the American Israeli relationship, and more!

Topic: "The Akeda, the Binding of Isaac, Unbound"

Facilitator: Mira Davis, Rabbi Bernard Lipnick Cantorial Intern, Congregation B'nai Amoona
Our Cantorial Intern will explore the Torah reading for the second day of Rosh Hashanah and will facilitate a conversation about its meaning in our world today.

We'll survey Jewish texts about our role in the continuation of the Jewish people and the importance of Jewish Education!

Topic: "In the Unsettling Time of a Quickly Changing World, Where Can We Find Inspiration for Imagining Our Future?"

At this session we will read selections of the bold, creative responses of three imaginative visionaries who met the challenges of their times and begin a conversation about tackling the ones of our own.
