Summary
Dear B'nai Amoona Family,
Shalom! Back in mid-June, we made a determination as a Klei Kodesh Team in concert with our BA Doctors Committee, that we were no longer in a time of Shaat Hadechak - a time of unforeseen emergency - and therefore, retired our use of Zoom on Shabbat and Holy Days.
While our doors will remain open for all Services, and we would love to see you in person, we acknowledge there are potential risks involved in coming to Shul at this time. It is with this in mind, and as we continue to see a rise in Covid cases and the emergence of the new Delta Variant, we realize that we are now back in a Shaat Hadechak.
Therefore, we will be returning to utilizing the Kosher Zoom on Shabbat and Holy Days beginning this Friday, September 3rd. The Zoom will remain on for all of Shabbatot and Chagim from the Guller Chapel only. As in the past, if we experience a technological issue, there is no way for us to turn the Zoom back on during Shabbat or a Chag.
This means that, beginning on the Shabbat of September 3rd, there will again be a Zoom option for Friday Night Services, Torah for Today at 10:00 am with Rabbi Neal, Shabbat Minchah/Ma'ariv and Havdallah Services, and for selected Yontiff Services as well. On Rosh Hashanah, Meditative Tashlich, Evening Services and ROSH-U will be available on Kosher Zoom.
We are, of course, continuing to monitor the pandemic and appreciate everyone working with us to continue to be as safe as possible while still trying to provide our Kehillah with the best possible religous and spiritual experiences.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
Todah Rabbah & L'Shanah Tovah!
Rabbi Rose, Cantor Sharon, Rabbi Abraham, Rabbi Neal
