Summary
Shanah Tovah!
A wise Rabbi recently shared with me that “enduring change starts within” and we should, therefore, approach change without succumbing to utterly paralyzing fear.
Especially these days, as we walk a very narrow and precarious bridge, we do our best to use our personal experience to traverse the bridge and arrive safely on the other side. There is no better way to demonstrate our resonance with our Rabbi’s words than to put them into practice. Thus, we have decided to focus our efforts and offer only one indoor Yom Kippur Day morning service. Please see below for a complete and updated Yom Kippur Day schedule.
We sincerely apologize to those of our members who had already registered for the second service for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we feel this is the best course of action for all concerned - members, staff and Klei Kodesh. As we prepare for Yom Kippur, I hope you each will join me in extending a deep debt of gratitude and appreciation to our Klei Kodesh for their efforts on Rosh Hashanah. With the support of our dedicated professional staff, the Rabbis and Cantor were simply Awe-some! The preparation and energy that went into the planning were on full display and we are eagerly looking forward to a similar Yom Kippur experience - in-person in the Big Tent or virtually.
Once again, Shanah Tovah Tikatevu VeTechatemu - May we all be inscribed and sealed for a good New Year!
