The Wanderers Written by Anna Ziegler Directed by Deborah Baer Mozes
Esther and Schmuli, Satmar Hasidic Jews, embark on an arranged marriage, despite barely knowing each other. Secular Jewish Abe & Sophie’s marriage grew from a childhood friendship. Two seemingly disparate marriages. Yet, there is much that binds these two couples in Anna Ziegler’s exquisite play of twists and turns about human nature, marriage, and what we neglect to see.

The world premiere of
Women, Wine, and Talmud (working title)
Written by Hadar Galron Conceived by Deborah Baer Mozes
Rachel, Mad Yalta, and Bruriah. Three wise women, daughters, wives, and sages whose stories appear in the Talmud. Each of them challenged the “expected” and each of their stories will challenge you. Theatre Ariel has commissioned Hadar Galron, internationally acclaimed Israeli playwright, to write this immersive, interactive theatre work that brings these women’s stories to life and brings you into that action as “commentators.”
