Special Edition of Fresh Eyes on Ancient Teachings with Ben Varon, JTS Rabbi Bernard Lipnick Award Recipient Monday, May 9 beginning at 8:30 am
Ben Varon is passionate about egalitarian Judaism and wants to inspire people to find personally meaningful Jewish practice. As a fifth-year rabbinical student at The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS), he enjoys the intellectual challenge of his academic studies and is excited to see where his spiritual journey to the rabbinate will lead. Ben is currently serving, for a second year, as the rabbinic intern at Shaarei Tikvah in Westchester County, New York. Last summer, Ben fulfilled his JTS requirement of completing a unit of clinical pastoral education with a placement in the Behavioral Health Unit at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Ben spent two years as the rabbinic intern at the University of Maryland and one year as the family educator at the Orangetown Jewish Center's Kulanu religious school program. Ben also spent two summers as a Rosh Edah (unit head) at Camp Ramah Nyack in New York.

We need your help with Yom HaShoah Candle Distribution If you only attend or volunteer occasionally for the Men's Club, please make sure this is the time this year. On April 27th, we pay homage to the 6 million Jewish lives that were extinguished in the Holocaust and boldly declare in front of survivors that we will always remember. As a proud partner of Yom HaShoah, the B'nai Amoona Men's Club is back to planning for deliveries of our Yellow Candles across the St. Louis area in advance of this remembrance. We need approximately 40 drivers to deliver to our congregants on Sunday, April 24th. Volunteering will ensure that the flame of remembrance is never extinguished.
Please note that not all of our classes are listed below. For this week's full class schedule including Zoom and registration links, please click the purple image below.
