Recently I shared my Second Bar Mitzvah with my granddaughter, Dia Kosmin-Rose, at which time I was asked to" bless her" as she entered this new stage in her life. But I am getting ahead of myself… first a little background.
Several months ago Dia called and said “Sabbah, you are turning 83, which is a time for your second Bar Mitzvah - would you like to share my Bat Mitzvah Bimah with me? That way, you and I can be called to the Torah on the very same day." click here to read more...

Sunday, June 12 1:00 pm Community-Wide Talk with Max Levin Max will share his experience in the 2014 “Operation Protective Edge,” the latest of the Gaza-Israeli conflicts as an American-born Israeli soldier who immigrated in 2012 to join the Israeli army. He will share his personal stories as a soldier who joined an elite paratrooper unit as an American-raised boy, with American values, serving in the modern Israeli army. His story is recounted in his book, Under the Stretcher.
