Our dedicated and wonderful Sacred Experience Committee recently came together to brainstorm ways to create meaningful and engaging summer opportunities. Listed below are two upcoming experimental changes that you should be aware of. We've always been a congregation with an entrepreneurial spirit and we hope that these upcoming adjustments to our summer schedule will enhance your Shabbat experiences.
Beginning Shabbat Morning, July 2, our Morning Services will begin at 9:30 am. This will continue through the rest of July. Please note: June 25 Shabbat Morning Services will continue to start at 9:00 am.
Friday, July 22, we will host TWO evening Services. The first will begin at our usual time of 6:00 pm and our later one will follow at 8:00 pm.
Please feel free to direct all of your comments and questions to our Sacred Experiences Chairperson, Dr. David Kantor. He may be emailed at drdavidkantor@gmail.com.

Pride Shabbat: This Friday Evening, June 24 at 6:00 pm
All are invited to join us this Friday evening for Pride Shabbat. As a congregation, we affirm that all people are created B'Tzelem Elohim, in the image of God. We celebrate the progress made by the Pride movement while also committing to do the continued work in ensuring LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.
We look forward to hearing first hand stories and reflections from our guest speakers, Dr. Sharon Vermont and her son, Sage Vermont.
About Dr. Sharon Vermont: Sharon Dunski Vermont is a Jewish wife and mother as well as a pediatrician who specializes in transgender health. Her LGBTQ advocacy began after learning that someone whom she loved was part of that community. She often writes and speaks about transgender issues in order to educate and to change hearts and and minds.
About Sage Vermont: Sage Vermont is a 23 year old bisexual, trans man. He is in school to be a funeral director and embalmer. In his free time he enjoys writing, making music and spending time with his dogs.
