Michael Schmitz for his volunteer work with Be A Hero UA Foundation in Poland. His efforts help Ukrainians receive medicine and protective equipment. Michael is the son of Jen and Jeff Schmitz and the brother of First Lieutenant Adam Schmitz who is currently assigned to the 82nd Airborne at Ft Bragg, NC following his graduation from the United States Army’s elite Ranger Course this past April.
