Monday, January 2: B'nai Amoona offices are closed today and Minyan will take place at its usual times of 7:00 am and 6:15 pm.
EXCITING EVENTS TAKING PLACE THIS SHABBAT!
Please join us for a brief Consecration ceremony as part of our Shabbat Morning on Saturday, January 7th.
Consecration is a ceremony celebrating the beginning of a student’s Formal Jewish Education. Our students will be blessed and receive their own personal “miniature” Torah at the ceremony.
We invite ALL Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade students (as well as any other students who have begun their formal Jewish learning in the last two years) to join us.
Students should arrive at 10:00 am and adults will go to the Main Sanctuary. Students will come to the main Sanctuary at 10:50 am for the ceremony. Everyone will then enjoy Kiddush lunch together.
Mini Minyan Returns at 10:15 am Families with young children are invited to join Rabbi Jeffrey and Lauren Abraham for activities and songs to celebrate Shabbat.
Shabbat School at 10:00 am Programming will begin at 10:00 am and go until services end. Parents are encouraged to attend services and then pick up their students at 11:30 am or at the end of services. *If you are not going to Services, please be in the building by 11:00 am.
Mini Minyan and Shabbat School families are invited to join the congregation for a delicious Kiddush luncheon following their programs.

As we are the hosts there are many opportunities for us at B’nai Amoona to participate in the weekend. Teens in 9th - 12th grade are encouraged to sign up for Winter Shab and engage in leadership opportunities prior to the weekend.
