Please join us for our Consecration ceremony as part of our Morning Services THIS SHABBAT, January 7th.
Consecration is a ceremony celebrating the beginning of a student’s Formal Jewish Education. Our students will be blessed and receive their own personal “miniature” Torah at the ceremony.
We invite ALL Kindergarten, First and Second Grade students and their families (as well as any other students who has started in the last two years) to join us.
Students should arrive at 10:00 am and adults will go to the Main Sanctuary. Students will come to the main Sanctuary at 10:50 am for the ceremony. Everyone will then enjoy Kiddush lunch together.
Shabbat School Programming will begin at 10:00 am and go until services end. Parents are encouraged to attend services and then pick up their students at 11:30 am or at the end of services. If you are not attending services, please be here by 11:00 am.
Mini Minyan in the Guller Chapel at 10:15 am Families with young children are invited to join Rabbi Jeffrey and Lauren Abraham for activities and songs to celebrate Shabbat. Following Mini Minyan, we will join the congregation for a delicious Kiddush luncheon. No registration required - come as you are!
Shabbat Song Circle will begin thirty minutes following the conclusion of services in the Mendelson Library with Cantor Sharon Nathanson. All are invited to join Cantor Sharon for an inspiring musical session in anticipation of Shabbat Shirah - the Shabbat of Song!
