Originally premiering in 1981, History of the World Part I was Mel Brooks’ parody of Hollywood’s historical movie trends. History of the World Part II will include an eight-part series with bits such as “Hitler on ice,” and “Jews in space.” Join cast member Josh Fadem and AJU’s Jonathan Dobrer for an inside look at the Jewish satire throughout the series, Brooks’ influence on comedy in America, and how Fadem’s career in comedy has been inspired by his Jewish upbringing and the works of Mel Brooks himself.

Every $1 provides 6 lbs. of fresh food delivered to those in need on Purim day and Shushan Purim in order to fulfill the mitzvah of Matanot L’evyonim.
Leket Israel, Israel’s National Food Bank, rescues over 60 million lbs. of surplus, high-quality food annually, that otherwise would go to waste, from hundreds of farms, hotels, corporate caterers and IDF bases. The food is distributed weekly to over 265 non-profits feeding 234,000 Israelis of all backgrounds.
