Yom HaShoah Candle Delivery Men's Club needs your help on Sunday April 2!
On April 18, we pay homage to the 6 million Jewish lives that were extinguished in the Holocaust and boldly declare in front of survivors that we will always remember. Once again, the B'nai Amoona Men's Club is planning to deliver Yellow Candles to each of our B'nai Amoona Members across the St. Louis area in advance of this day of remembrance. We are seeking approximately 40 drivers to deliver to our congregants on Sunday, April 2.
The more volunteers that sign-up the fewer deliveries we all have! Please, this is such a meaningful outreach to our congregation, we need every driver we can find.
Ask the Rabbi
Rabbi Abraham will be hosting a series of “Ask the Rabbi” sessions. These informal, casual get togethers are open to the entire congregation and all are welcome to join these chats with Rabbi Abraham. It is an opportunity to ask your questions directly to Rabbi Abraham.
Please mark your calendars for: Tuesday, March 28, immediately following evening Minyan Shabbat, April 8, following Kiddush Sunday, April 23 at 10:00 am
Please RSVP to Amy Maupin at amy@bnaiamoona.com, but feel free to drop in for any or all of these sessions.

Israel's Debate: The Judiciary, Law of Return, and Democracy Thursday, March 23 at 2pm PST | No Cost | Online
Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has returned to power as head of a new coalition government that has proposed a variety of legal reforms, including limitations on the autonomy of the Supreme Court, restrictions on the Law of Return, and curtailments on the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community. These proposed changes have incited unprecedented demonstrations across Israel, as well as a large debate about the future of its democracy.
Join us for a thought-provoking conversation that aims to explore the current state and future of democracy in Israel. AJU’s President Dr. Jeffrey Herbst will be in discussion with judicial expert Joel D. Joseph about the critical issues being debated in Israel and among Jews everywhere. Dr. Joseph is the author of Solomonic Justice: How the Israeli Supreme Court Has Become a Beacon of Justice in the Middle East.
