We Stand with Israel
Once again, Israel is under attack with hundreds and hundreds of rockets being fired from Gaza by Islamic Jihad. B’nai Amoona stands with the citizens of Israel and those of the IDF who are on the front lines fighting for security. We hope for peace and a resolution for which all parties are able to once again return their swords into plowshares. We pray for the safety of the People of Israel and our Homeland. Am Yisrael Chai!
Congregation B’nai Amoona and our Klei Kodesh want to express our deep concern for the decision made by the Missouri House in respect to their vote to pass Senate Bill 39. Above all else, we are a Congregation that respects and honors humanity. Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation are human rights issues. When one group of people is treated unjustly; we will speak out against hate. We want members of the LGBTQ+ community to know we stand with them, see them, hear their words, support them, and welcome them with open arms and hearts. Together we will work towards a world of Tikkun Olam, a repaired and just world.
We invite everyone to join us for our next Shabbat Lunch and Learn on June 17th as we will hear from voices within our LGBTQ+ community here at BA.
Please join us for our Annual Congregational Meeting Monday, May 15 at 7:00 pm in person at B'nai Amoona.
RSVP HERE and let us know you'll be joining us!
