A Message from Our Personnel Chair
The B'nai Amoona Board of Trustees, in collaboration with Rabbi Abraham and Cantor Nathanson, have decided to perform an exploratory search for an Assistant Rabbi.
Gail Feldstein and I have assembled a search committee representing diverse segments of our community. The committee members are: Jon Baris, Carl Greenberg, Kevin Korenblat, Samara Landy, Sylvia Manewith, Beth Saltzman, Laura Shapiro, Jennifer Smith, Jillian Thomadsen, Phyllis Traub, and Seth Wallerstein.
In part, this search is an opportunity for us to show seminary students and other rabbis what a special community we have at BA.
The search committee has identified a candidate to introduce to the congregation. Rabbi Jared Skoff (a familiar name to many) will join us the weekend of January 5-7, 2024, when you will have an opportunity to meet him and his family, and hear him speak.
Please save the date. More details will be available soon.
