Congregation B'nai Amoona is Hosting EMTZA USY Winter Shab 2023!

Congregation B’nai Amoona is honored to host Winter Shabbaton for USY, our High School Teen Youth Group. More than 70 teens from all over the EMTZA Region will be attending from January 27-29th. As we are the hosts there are many opportunities for us at B’nai Amoona to participate in the weekend - even if you do not have a teenager at home!

Winter Shab Registration For Teens in 9th - 12th Grade 

Winter Shabbaton is an annual tradition for teens in EMTZA Region.  All Jewish teens 9th - 12th grade are welcome to attend the event. We will observe Shabbat, eat delicious kosher food, learn USY traditions, and just have a great social weekend with camp friends, shul friends, and new friends! B'nai Amoona teens will engage in leadership opportunities prior to the weekend and help plan the event!

We Need YOU to Help with Housing - Become a Host Family!

We are in need of housing for the teens during the event. It would be a great mitzvah to be a part of this wonderful weekend! You do not need to have teens to house! All participants are required to Covid test prior to attending the event. We will also ask those who are housing to do the same the morning of January 27th.

Help with Transportation

We are looking for volunteers to drive teens during Winter Shabbaton.  Many of our gracious volunteers are able to house more teens titan they can safely drive to and from B'nai Amoona and their homes. Please fill out this form to let us know if you are able to help with driving the teens.

We are looking for volunteers to help with serving meals during Winter Shabbaton. It's a great way to see and interact with the teens and enjoy the energy and excitement of the event.  We hope you say Yes!
